REVIEW: Vaporesso x DOJO iMate OS Pod System

The Vaporesso x DOJO iMate OS Pod System is a pocket-friendly pod device that blends refillable convenience with the option to pair prefilled disposable pods. The detachable battery/display design gives it a unique setup compared to most integrated pod systems. This review breaks down what it does well, where features feel limited, and how it performs in day-to-day vaping.

Overview

• DIMENSIONS: 31.3mm by 53.3mm by 83.7mm
• BATTERY CAPACITY: 1200mAh
• BATTERY CONFIGURATION: Integrated Rechargeable
• RESISTANCE: 0.6ohm
• DISPLAY SCREEN: 1.83" TFT Screen
• OPERATION: Draw-Activated
• CHARGING: USB Type-C
• POD CAPACITY: 6mL
• Power/Eco Modes

One thing worth mentioning is that there’s no adjustable airflow, which may feel limiting for users who like to fine-tune their draw.

A 1200mAh battery is housed inside the magnetic snap-on battery/display section. For a compact device, that capacity supports solid daily usage,  especially if Eco mode is used when the battery dips lower.

Recharging is done via USB-C.

The 1.83" TFT display is one of the standout features:

• 10 different visual themes
• Clear readout of battery level, puff info, and mode

The interface keeps essential information visible without extra menus to dig through

Two firing profiles are available:

• Power Mode: Offers a bit more punch for better flavor delivery when the battery is healthy
• Eco Mode: Designed for longer runtime, best used once battery life starts dipping

It’s a simple setup that doesn’t overwhelm users with unnecessary selections.

The included iMate OS pod holds 6mL of e-liquid, which is noticeably larger than many pod systems. It connects magnetically to the back of the battery/spine and is pre-installed with either a 0.6ohm or 0.8ohm mesh coil.

Flavor production is solid for both nicotine salt and lower-strength freebase e-liquid. Longevity of the mesh coil seems respectable based on similar Vaporesso pod tech, though heavy sweet liquid users may still burn through pods more quickly.

One notable limitation: lack of airflow control means you’re locked into the preset draw.

This is where the iMate OS shows some real flexibility. In addition to its refillable pods, it’s compatible with iMate X Disposable Pods, which feature:

• 15mL prefilled capacity
• 5% nicotine strength
• Wide range of flavors

Few systems allow swapping between refillable and large-format prefilled options. For those who like convenience but still want the ability to refill when preferred, this hybrid setup is appealing.

• 1 iMate OS
• 1 0.6ohm iMate OS Mesh Pod
• 1 USB Type-C Charging Cable
• 1 User Manual & Warranty Card

The iMate OS comes in Blue, Pink, Green, Grey, and Silver.

The Vaporesso x DOJO iMate OS Pod System offers a different take on what a pod device can be,  a detachable screen/battery unit and compatibility with both refillable and large-capacity prefilled pods. The flavor output is enjoyable and the 1200mAh battery provides dependable usage time.

Where it falls short is the fixed airflow and a wattage system that doesn’t give much customization beyond Power vs. Eco. If you prefer fine control over draw tightness, this isn’t the best match.
But for someone who wants a large juice capacity, a clean digital display, and the flexibility to use both reusable and disposable pods, the iMate OS stands out as a practical everyday grab-and-go device.
