BEAUTY VS. FUNCTIONALITY/DEPENDABILITY

"Okay so I purchased 2 of these from a different online store (sorry EV, still love ya) - they were an unbeatable deal. Turns out I am pretty glad that they WERE on a huge sale. They are gorgeous with the resin panels, I did NOT FIND button rattle as was stated when watching reviews before buying (people - ALWAYS do this. Watch YouTube reviews, read them online - STUDY the product bc in the end that's your hard earned $). It is easy to adjust the wattage, kind of easy to fill (pods are quite small & that's a con bc of how they are built), but Vape juice very easily gets around the drip tip & if u vape a lot then you're constantly refilling. The coils are another issue. They get okay flavor. Just okay. DAMN sure not worth 30 bucks for the unit I'll be honest. Build quality is good and looks are great but coils don't last long. If you are a vaper who doesn't vape a ton and wants a nice looking LITTLE piece to go around town with, you'll be okay. But overall I've got to say I'd have a hard time recommending this for this price. (Again, EV - STILL LOVE YA)."

Oh dear oh dear!

"I really wanted to enjoy this mod and recommend it. However since owning the device I have had nothing but issues after a week of owning it. Firstly, the coils in the kit were coated in some dried factory residue (I'm not sure but it's not the metal) which made screwing in the coils incredibly hard. Secondly my coils both developed a short within a week and both are no longer fire-able in the mod anymore. Thirdly, lots of juice residue builds up inside the device; even when using the recommended 50/50 juice in the manual. Fourthly and arguably the most disappointing part of this mod besides the short circuits. The battery life on the mod is APPALLING! It has USB-C which is nice; though sadly you can't vape and charge simultaneously. But fully charged my battery lasts maybe 2 hours? If that. (I vape maybe a few times every 30 mins or so). All in all I would say this is the single mod I've had the most issues with in such a short amount of time. I cannot recommend anyone buy this as it seems there's a manufacturing error with some of these."

Coils suck

"Both coils I recieved with the asvape micro system taste burnt. I primed both coils and allowed adequate time for the juice soak in. I would not recommend this product, it may look coil but there is no point if the coils are faulty. I pretty much wasted 50 bucks"

Pretty nice device

"I really like the functionality of this device. Only thing I had a problem with was the mesh coils. The first 2 coils I got out of the extra pack I bought were bad. Other than that it's a very solid beautiful device."

Disappointed

"Maybe I've been spoiled by using an Orion for so long, but but after watching glowing reviews from Twisted and others, I expect a device with far fewer problems. The battery on my Orion doesn't like to hold charge anymore, so I bought this as a replacement based on the aforementioned reviews. The packaging is nice but the MTL coil arrived with some kind of machining reside dried onto it. The magnetic door is fun to fiddle with and it's cool that you can pop the tank in and out, but ultimately this is less convenient than an exposed tank system. The .5 ohm coil is very thirsty, and since the tank only holds 2 ml, it requires filling often. Having to open the mod, remove the tank, pop open the stopper and then very slowly allow the liquid to work its way around the chimney is decidedly more time consuming than the Orion. That said, vapor production and flavor were good from the .5 ohm coil (didn't try the MTL), provided that I ran the mod at well below the recommended wattage. The .5 ohm coil recommends 20-25 watts, and in this range I got nothing but very painful dry hits, even on short puffs. The chip in this mod recognizes the ohm of the coil you've inserted, but it only uses this to switch to a wattage preset; there is no temperature control of any sort on this mod. Once I lowered the wattage to the 15-17 range, it became usable. Unfortunately, the coil developed a short and refused to fire after a little more than a week of regular use. The USB-C charging port is nice, but this device doesn't support vaping while charging, which is ludicrous. Battery life is good, but the screen does not accurately depict how much battery is actually left -- sometimes the screen would show that it was 3/4ths full, but would play the 1/4th full animation when I plugged a cable into it, and it was unclear as to which was actually true. If this mod came out 5 years ago, it'd be revolutionary. In 2019, I regret this purchase and do not recommend it. There are other pod systems, even in this price range, that are more convenient and less shoddy."

"Im having issues with this device that are really getting to me. The coils burn out so fast its ridiculous, They also don't seem to prime right. I have let them sit for upwards of 20 minutes, or soaking them in juice first. Doesn't seem to matter how I prime them or what kind of juice I use, The coils burn out so fast its scary. some coils I don't even get a half tank in before Im getting choking burnt hits that make me cough. I have gone through a half dozen coils, and I've also tried using different units. Same result burnt his within the first tank. I am getting pissed off because this unit is expensive to begin with and is not performing nearly as good as an Asvape product should. Before you say im not doing it right. I work for a vape company and have been vaping since 2012 so im not new to this in any way. Please be careful buying this product the coils are either bad and not rated for what they say, or they are not good coils in general. Asvape has already replied to me personally saying they are making new coils, and the issue is apparent to them. Doesnt matter if its 70/30, or 60/40 or 50/50, burnt hits are all I get with this device."
